I am sorry I haven't written for awhile. I work at a library where we are trying to grow our Knitting club.
It seems people are interested but do not come out to the programs. Maybe an earlier time would be better. i have a wonderful volunteer, she was a teacher, now retired.
She has taught me so much. She is so patient and gives you room to grow.
We are semi-self taught. Our knowledge grows as our interest and curosity grows.
I enjoy that. No pressure. I really love doing the knitting and have learned to trust my instinct on learning new things.
My education is now. School was the foundation, now we begin to learn. Life school.

cabled hat

I completed my first cable hat,boy it was work. The joy is that it is completed. That is the keyword completed, not throw aside to never wonder what it would look like, completed. Yeah!!! Give myself 2 brownie points. It feels great. Now to the next project, a scarf to match. Now this is not for me this was done for my daughter. Allother knitting projects I have planned
are for my family. Maybe Christmas gifts> That is why I need to practice I want them to come out perfect.

unraveling the mess

Sometimes it is better to work slower on a new project. I guess being the turtle is okay.
I made such a mess of my work that I had to take it all out. That is so frustating.
Anyway I should be finished this project soon.
